My articles are all copyrighted, so please contact me before you consider reprinting any of my writing, on the web or elsewhere. Generally, instead of reprinting my articles on the web in full, I prefer it if you only use the first two paragraphs (for reviews and short features, maybe the first 50–100 words) and then link back to my site for the full story. There's actually a good reason for this: it creates good food for the search engine spiders, which will benefit both your site and my site.

Here is the best linking style (for both search engines and readers): Use maybe a paragraph in quotation marks and then use a link that reads something to the effect of "Read the full story about _____ here." As an example I'll use one of my Motorhead features:

"Motorhead guitarist Phil 'Zoom' Campbell is in stress-out mode. He's nervously pacing outside one of Soundcastle's spacious recording studios, muttering about the goings-on inside. Things are winding down on Motorhead's new album, March or Die, and one of the finishing touches is adding Ozzy Osbourne's vocals to the song 'Ain't No Nice Guy.' Ozzy has been behind the mic for most of the evening, matching Lemmy's already-recorded voice word for word, and Phil's concerned that the platinum-selling artist isn't getting the treatment he deserves."

In any case, please contact me first — I would really like to know who's interested in my stuff.
